Ingredients
- One Pot Creamy chicken Pasta
- 2 boneless chicken breast
- 8 ounce Baby Spinach
- 1 stick of butter
- 2-3 tbs olive oil
Spices measure with your heart
- Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and allepo pepper
- 1 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Parmesan cheese and Gruyère cheese ( cut 2 strips of each cheese length wise ).
- Pasta of your choice (I used spinach linguine ).
- Wash and pat dry the chicken, add the spices to both sides except for the Allepo pepper.
- In a wide pan melt 1 stick of butter and 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil together until heated add the chicken and brown on both sides (browning will add to the color of the sauce) add the spinach it should cook very quickly.
- Remove the chicken and spinach from the sauce, let the chicken cool slightly before slicing into the preferred thickness (don’t be alarmed if the chicken is slightly pink in the middle as you will add it to the sauce to finish cooking).
- Add 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream, allepo pepper, 1 cup of water, Parmesan and Gruyère. Whisk slowly until the cheese melts and the sauce comes together. Crack a little bit more pepper and salt to taste add the pasta and stir to get coated with the sauce, add the chicken cover and let cook for 10-15 minutes or until pasta is cooked.
- Uncover add the spinach and serve (top with extra cheese optional).
