Aysh Al Saraya Cups

Aysh Al Saraya Cups

I have learned to trust recipes that feel at home on both a weekday table and a table full of guests; Aysh Al Saraya Cups has that ease. This is a lovely way to finish a meal or make an afternoon cup of coffee feel like an occasion. The Middle Eastern flavors here feel right at home on a generous table. This is exactly the sort of recipe that keeps a kitchen feeling alive and well used.

Ingredients

  • πŸ‘‘ 4 cups milk
  • πŸ‘‘ 1 cup heavy cream
  • πŸ‘‘ 1/2 cup sugar
  • πŸ‘‘ 5 heaping tbs cornstarch
  • πŸ‘‘ 2 caps full orange blossom water
  • πŸ‘‘ 2 cups sugar
  • πŸ‘‘ 1 1/2 cup hot water
  • πŸ‘‘ 9 pieces white slice bread
  • πŸ‘‘ ground pistachio
  • Go to highlights in desserts to see how it’s made

Instructions

  1. How deliciously beautiful is this dessert. Especially when you have unexpected guests or your not in the mood to spend hours perfecting a dessert. With ingredients in every household, milk, sugar and slice bread how can you go wrong, and let me tell you your guests will still think you spent hours making it!!
  2. I use heavy cream in my recipe but you can totally make it with out, now the recipe calls for a 9×13 dish but you can totally cut it in half and it will make about 6 single servings depending on how much milk pudding you put in every cup or small dish. I hope you give it a try enjoy 🌻.
