Strawberry Fruit Tart

For this Valentine’s 💌 I’m bringing you something from the vault, recipes that are treasured but I haven’t made in a while. You’ll be catching some of these here and there! And what’s better than strawberries to gift your loved one in the form of a tart? This recipe is so easy and delicious, don’t forget to like and share.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 3/4 cup (12 tbs.) sweet butter room temperature
  • 1/2 cup confectioner sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup flour

Filling

  • 11 ounce vanilla milk chip
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup confectioner sugar
  • 1 tbs. Corn starch
  • 1/2 tbs. Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 300 F, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add 1 1/2 cups of flour and beat until it comes together. Place in the fridge for 5 minutes then press at the bottom of a 10 inch tart pan making sure to bring to the sides. With a fork poke some holes at the bottom and bake for 25 minutes, let cool.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, microwave the chips with the heavy cream on high until melted (stir in between) add 1 package of cream cheese and beat together until creamy.
  3. Pour the filling over the crust and place in the fridge until set at least an hour.
  4. Whisk the ingredients together and cook on low until thickened let cool. Arrange the fruits in this case strawberries and brush with the glaze cool for another hour and serve.

Notes

  • You can substitute the glaze with apricot jam just add a little bit of water and microwave to melt.
  • Use any fruits you like I’ve used kiwi, grape, raspberries ets.
