Jell-O Bil Crema

Jell-O Bil Crema

I still remember the first time I made this easy dessert, I was only 17 💁🏻‍♀️ (to be young again, believe me, just for the energy). This recipe never gets old, my children loved it when they were young, and even now they get excited when I make it. I know you might say, what’s the big deal, it’s just a couple of ready made things whipped together! Trust me, sometimes the simple things are the most delicious and refreshing, simply because they are, and it’s a great way to introduce your children to the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 can pineapple juice
  • 2 envelopes dream whip
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. ▫️cut the strawberries and place at the bottom of a 9 inch pan( I chose a heart shape) You can use any shape you like ▫️in a large bowl dissolve the jello in the hot water , then in a measuring cup measure 1 1/2 cold liquid including the pineapple juice, measuring you will add the pineapple juice then cold water to the 1 1/2 mark. Stir well and set aside.
  2. ▫️in a bowl empty the packets of dream whip ( I buy dream whip ) and beat with 1/2 cup of cold milk for 2 minutes or until stiff peaks form.
  3. ▫️ empty the dream whip into the Jell-O and beat for 2 minutes, pour the mixture over the fresh strawberries and place in the fridge overnight.
  4. ▫️before you serve bring outside the fridge for a couple of minutes, with a tip of a flat knife loosen the edges and turn upside down on a platter, decorate any way you like and enjoy ♥️.
