These days, I have a soft spot for recipes that make the kitchen feel welcoming, and Pistachio Ashta Filled Croissant does exactly that. It feels festive enough for company and just as welcome on an ordinary afternoon. Its Middle Eastern roots give the recipe a sense of both comfort and occasion. Bring it to the table with confidence and let everyone discover it for themselves.

Instructions
- This recipe couldn’t be easier and it was absolutely delicious. I had leftover homemade Ashta (recipe in the post before) and 7 day old store bought croissant and I thought why not combine both together. The result was absolutely delicious and you can make as many as you want. I used croissants which are huge so it made me only 3 which I cut in half, so in all fairness it would make 6 regular croissants!
- You can also make a fresh batch of Ashta if you wanted to make more.
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Fold the Ashta with crushed pistachio to your hearts desire. Cut the croissant in half making sure it’s still attached, brush the inside of the croissant generously with simple syrup flavored with orange blossom (recipe in the post before).
- Fill with the Ashta pistachio filling, place the croissant on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the top with simple syrup.
- Bake in the oven for 15-18 minutes until golden brown, take out of the oven brush with simple syrup again top with crushed pistachio and dried rose petals. Enjoy.
