Mirvat’s halva wrap is a simple, sweet treat worth trying.
Ingredients
- Plain vanilla halva
- halloumi cheese
- pistachio chopped
- flour tortilla
- ghee for shallow frying
- carob molasses (optional )
- .
- Watch the reel for how-to
Instructions
- Let me introduce you to a simple wrap that I came up with combining middle eastern flavors from my culture that I’m sure you will fall in love with.
- Halva/ halwa is made out of crushed sesame seeds and combined with sweetened syrup made out of sugar or honey. Formed into blocks or wheels and flavored with vanilla ( I would recommend that one over the cocoa flavor ), there’s also plain and pistachio.
- Halva and carob molasses go hand in hand, so delicious!! And since halva is so sweet I decided to combine it with cheese to break down the sweetness, also if your not a fan of molasses you can absolutely drizzle the wrap with melted chocolate.
- I hope you get to try this wrap and if you do let me know how it comes out and tag 🥰.
Notes
- Make sure and warm the tortillas before wrapping so it doesn’t break.
