Cranberry Orange Cheese Knots

Cranberry Orange Cheese Knots

These are some of the most beautiful knots you’ll ever make, and so delicious. I’m always up for anything that saves me time in the kitchen. I used cranberry sauce here because it’s fitting for the season and only around for a limited time, but you can absolutely substitute your favorite jam. I’ll admit I used Trader Joe’s puff pastry, and it wasn’t the best.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 4 ounces feta cheese
  • 2 slices candied oranges, chopped
  • Cranberry sauce
  • Heavy cream for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F., mix the ingredients together. Spread the cheese mixture on one half of the puff pastry (normally puff pastry is large, I was surprised with the Trader Joe’s on so I had to improvise) then top with the cranberry sauce or your favorite jam.
  2. Cover with the other half of puff pastry, cut into strips then twist and roll into knots. Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake on the middle rack for 35-40 minutes. Dust with powder sugar and enjoy 😊.
  3. These are best same day!!
