These are some of the most beautiful knots you’ll ever make, and so delicious. I’m always up for anything that saves me time in the kitchen. I used cranberry sauce here because it’s fitting for the season and only around for a limited time, but you can absolutely substitute your favorite jam. I’ll admit I used Trader Joe’s puff pastry, and it wasn’t the best.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 4 ounces feta cheese
- 2 slices candied oranges, chopped
- Cranberry sauce
- Heavy cream for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F., mix the ingredients together. Spread the cheese mixture on one half of the puff pastry (normally puff pastry is large, I was surprised with the Trader Joe’s on so I had to improvise) then top with the cranberry sauce or your favorite jam.
- Cover with the other half of puff pastry, cut into strips then twist and roll into knots. Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake on the middle rack for 35-40 minutes. Dust with powder sugar and enjoy 😊.
- These are best same day!!
