Pizza Margarita

Pizza Margarita

I’m not Italian, but I love Italian food, and this dough recipe might not be the traditional pizza dough recipe! But it’s so delicious if you like a thin pizza crust. Possibly the best homemade pizza you’ll ever make. It’s a stickier dough, but it really works. I hope you get to try it 🍕🍕

Ingredients

  • 940 grams bread flour
  • 60 grams wheat flour
  • 3/4 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 packet of
  • 24 ounce warm water + 2 tbs
  • For the dough watch ( my ultimate dough reel on how-to ) in the highlights under bread‼️

Instructions

  1. This dough recipe makes enough for 2 9×13 sheet pizza. I used the dough for something else /that I will be sharing with you tomorrow/.
  2. .
  3. As for the sauce my trick is to mix 1 1/2 cup pasta sauce I use + 1 tsp tomato paste.
  4. Start by drizzling some olive oil and a dust of flour to the pan. That will be your coating.
  5. Cut the amount of dough you need for the pizza and drizzle with some olive oil and let it rest for 30 minutes. That will help in spreading. Stretch the dough gently until it covers the whole pan making sure to let it rest for another 5 minutes before adding the sauce. Spread the sauce add fresh mozzarella cheese and bake in a 450 F preheated oven on the bottom shelf until golden and bubbly.
  6. Take out from the oven, I like to add chili flakes and fresh basil with a drizzle of the best olive oil and enjoy 🔥🔥.
