Burgers, anyone? I don’t know if you’ll agree or disagree with the name I gave this burger, but I love it. This burger melts in your mouth, it’s seriously that good, and my secret ingredient has always been @hidden.valley ranch seasoning. Also, if you don’t own a cast iron skillet yet, get one, it makes all the difference!
Ingredients
Instructions
- Lb 2’10 ground beef ( chuck and top sirloin ) 80/20.
- 1 3/4 tbs ranch homestyle seasoning.
- 1 tbs dried onion.
- Salt and pepper.
- 2 large onions sliced + 1 tbs olive oil.
- Secret sauce :.
- Measure by heart, mayonnaise, ketchup, dill mustard, dill relish and black pepper.
- Brioche buns.
- Sliced cheese ( I used truffle pecorino ).
- Tomato and lettuce.
- 1- using a cast iron skillet start by caramelizing the onions, that should take the longest about 30-45 minutes on medium-low stirring occasionally.
- 2- mix the sauce and set aside ( I left the spoon in there to give an idea but I always measure by heart ).
- 3- mix the ground beef with the ranch powder , dried onion, salt and pepper. Form into balls with the palm of your hand. Yields 10 patties.
- 4- heat the skillet until very hot ( I used the same skillet for the onions ), place the patty in the skillet and I like to smash it with my hand. It should take about a minute and a half on each side.
- 5- I used the same skillet to toast the buns.
- 6- start assembling to your heart’s content and enjoy.
Notes
- I truly recommend finding the truffle slice cheese found mine it’s a 100% sheeps milk cheese and it truly knocked it out of the park.
