
If you’re looking for an easy bite, you’ve come to the right place. It’s such an easy recipe for entertaining your guests through the holidays, and even on game day.
Ingredients
- 1 baguette
- Olive oil for brushing
- 6 ounce brown mushrooms sliced
- 2 tbs butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 stems thyme
- Salt and pepper
- 2 balls burrata
- 4 tbs olive oil + 1 tbs Aleppo chili pepper (I like it spicy you can always use less)
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 375 F bake.
- Cut baguette on the bias, place on a baking sheet brush with olive oil and bake until golden on both sides.
- Take out from the oven when it’s cooled slightly rub each piece with a half cut garlic it will give a nice taste.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan add the sliced mushroom, salt and and sauté for a minute add the minced garlic and thyme sauté until fragrant, turn of the heat.
- Heat the olive oil with the Aleppo chili.
- To warn the burrata place in a bowl with warm water.
- It’s time to assemble, break the burrata and place in a plate top it with the chili oil and then the sautéed mushrooms. Scoop on a crostini and enjoy ☺️.
