
You just have to try these rolls, they’re full of flavor, so delicious, and also so easy to make. A great starter and party pleaser 😊
Ingredients
- 2 medium size zucchini
- 4 ounce cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup Gruyère cheese (shredded)
- 4 ounce baby Bella mushroom (chopped fine)
- 2 cloves garlic minced to paste
- Avocado oil
- Umami sauce
- 1 tsp white miso
- 2 tsp light soy sauce
- 3 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp chili paste
Instructions
- Slice 2 zucchinis with into ribbon using a vegetable peeler.
- Melt the butter add the mushrooms and cook until the liquid evaporates, stirring continuously. Add 2 cloves of garlic salt and black pepper cook for less than a minute, let cool.
- In a bowl add 4 ounces of cream cheese, mushrooms and 1/2 cup of gruyère cheese and mix well.
- Now start assembling (refer to reel) the amount made 16 bite size rolls. Secure every four on a skewer.
- Brush a grill pan with avocado oil, add the skewer’s to the grill and brush the top with oil, it should take less than a minute on each side.
- For the umami sauce mix the ingredients and serve along side the rolls. Enjoy!!
Notes
- For the zucchini you will have scraps so don’t get alarmed if you can’t use the whole zucchini, remember you need nice wide slices. In my case the zucchini wasn’t wide enough so I had to place 2 slices together.
